Ingredients
- 3 large firm apples
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
Method
- Core apples.
- Do not pare.
- Cut in 1/2-inch slices.
- Melt butter in large heavy skillet.
- Add apple slices.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Cook over medium heat, turning apples until golden brown and tender.
- Makes 8 servings.
