Ingredients
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 c. cranberries, cut up
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 3 egg whites
Method
- Combine sugar, flour and spices.
- Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored.
- Add to dry ingredients alternately with vinegar and melted butter.
- Mix well.
- Stir in cranberries and pecans.
- Bet egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Fold into cranberry mixture and blend well.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350° for about 50 minutes.
