Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 3/4 c. milk
  • 3 c. fresh, frozen or canned corn
  • 3 eggs, beaten

Method

  • Melt butter in saucepan; stir in flour, salt and sugar.
  • Cook until bubbly.
  • Add milk and cook until thick.
  • Stir in corn.
  • Stir in eggs that have been beaten until frothy.
  • Pour into well-buttered casserole and set in a pan of hot water.
  • Bake at 350° about an hour.
