Ingredients
- 2 c. garbanzo beans
- 1 large clove garlic
- 1/4 c. tahini (sesame butter)
- 1/2 c. bean cooking water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Method
- Cook garbanzo beans well and drain.
- Process all ingredients in blender until absolutely smooth.
- Serve as a dip with pita bread or crackers for scooping.
- Or use as a sandwich filling with lettuce leaves and tomato slices.
