Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- chopped nuts
- chocolate, melted
Method
- In a pan, place sugar, butter and water.
- Bring to a boil of 300°.
- Take off burner; add vanilla.
- Pour onto buttered cookie sheet or foil.
- When cool, pour melted chocolate over toffee and press chopped nuts into chocolate.
- Break into small pieces when chocolate has hardened.
