Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. to 1/4 c. oil
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 5 medium carrots, shredded
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 10 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- bottled liquid hot sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- In a large nonstick pan, heat oil and add cabbage, carrots, bell pepper and onions.
- Toss vegetables frequently with spatula. Add sugar, crumbled bacon, pepper sauce, salt, pepper and 6 to 8 teaspoons bacon grease.
- Cook about 15 minutes.
- If you want crispy vegetables, do not cover pan.
- Cook over medium heat until desired crispness.
