Ingredients
- 2 sticks softened margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. plain flour
- 1 egg, separated
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Cream together the margarine and sugar.
- Add the flour, egg yolk,
- vanilla
- and
- cinnamon.
- Mix all ingredients well, then press onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Press the pecans into the mixture.
- Beat
- the
- egg white until foamy, then spread on top. Bake at 275° for 1 hour.
- Cut into squares immediately.
