Ingredients

  • 1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash browns
  • 1 can cream of potato soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • In large bowl, mix all ingredients well.
  • Put into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese (parsley and paprika are optional).
  • Bake, uncovered, at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Can be made a day ahead and frozen, baked or uncooked. Serves 12.
