Ingredients

  • 8 frozen hash brown patties
  • 4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 lb cooked ham, cubed
  • 7 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 2 -3 tablespoons onions, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 12 tablespoons parsley, chopped fine (optional)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Place hash brown patties in a single layer in a greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking dish.
  • Cover evenly with ham and cheese.
  • In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt and mustard and optional ingredients, if using.
  • Pour evenly over ham and cheese.
  • Cover and bake for one hour.
  • Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer or until edges are golden brown and a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven and let sit 5-10 minutes.
  • Cut into squares and serve.
