Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 4 eggs
- 14 cup 2% low-fat milk
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 14 cups quick-cooking oats (not instant)
- 1 13 cups 2% low-fat milk
- 14 cup dried cranberries (optional) or 14 cup raisins (optional)
- 4 teaspoons granulated sugar
Method
- Bring water and salt to a boil in medium saucepan over high heat.
- Whisk together eggs, 1/4 cup milk, cinnamon and vanilla in medium bowl; stir into boiling water.
- Reduce heat to medium-low.
- Stir in oats.
- Simmer until desired consistency, about 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Spoon into bowls; top each servng with milk cranberries and sugar.
