Ingredients
- 6 whole Whole-wheat Lasagna Noodles
- 8 ounces, weight Ricotta Cheese
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Plus Extra For Sprinkling On Top, If Desired
- 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
- 2 cups Pasta Sauce
Method
- Preheat your oven to 375 F.
- Boil your noodles in a pot of salted water according to package instructions.
- When they are finished boiling, remove them from the pot of water and lay them on parchment paper to dry.
- Pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Set aside.
- In a 6 x 6 baking dish, pour 1 cup of pasta sauce and spread it to cover the entire dish.
- Take 2 4 tablespoons of cheese mixture and spread it on a noodle.
- Roll the noodle gently into a spiral.
- Repeat with remaining noodles.
- Place each roll into the baking dish on top of the pasta sauce.
- Top each roll with remaining pasta sauce.
- Add a bit more mozzarella on top of each roll.
- Bake uncovered for 30 minutes until cheese has melted.
