Ingredients

  • 6 whole Whole-wheat Lasagna Noodles
  • 8 ounces, weight Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Plus Extra For Sprinkling On Top, If Desired
  • 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 cups Pasta Sauce

Method

  • Preheat your oven to 375 F.
  • Boil your noodles in a pot of salted water according to package instructions.
  • When they are finished boiling, remove them from the pot of water and lay them on parchment paper to dry.
  • Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  • Set aside.
  • In a 6 x 6 baking dish, pour 1 cup of pasta sauce and spread it to cover the entire dish.
  • Take 2 4 tablespoons of cheese mixture and spread it on a noodle.
  • Roll the noodle gently into a spiral.
  • Repeat with remaining noodles.
  • Place each roll into the baking dish on top of the pasta sauce.
  • Top each roll with remaining pasta sauce.
  • Add a bit more mozzarella on top of each roll.
  • Bake uncovered for 30 minutes until cheese has melted.
