Ingredients

  • 800 g canned tomatoes
  • 3 chilies
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 jalapenos
  • 1 small red onion
  • 14 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Method

  • Chop all the ingredients in chunky pieces and add them together with the vinegar and spices to a saucepan.
  • Don't trow away the tomato juice from the can!
  • Add the spices and bring the salsa to boil at medium heat.
  • Afterwards simmer for about 45 minutes to an hour.
  • Finish to taste if necessary.
  • Transfer to a jar and let it cool completely.
  • Enjoy!
