- 1 1/2 lb. pork sausage meat
- 1 (12 oz.) loaf French bread
- 2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms
- 6 large eggs
- 1 qt. milk
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese (2 c.)
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese (1 c.)
- chopped parsley (for garnish)
Method
- Night before serving, grease a 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish. Cook pork sausage meat, stirring frequently to break up sausage until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink.
- Using slotted spoon, remove sausage to paper towel to drain.
