Ingredients
- 3 lb. ground chuck or ground round
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 5 lb. potatoes, cubed
- 3 lb. onions, chopped
- butter
- salt and pepper
Method
- Make pie crust following a 3 crust recipe.
- Roll out and line both dishes; fill.
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Makes 1 (11 x 15-inch) Pyrex dish and one large pie plate.
- Line bottom of both and fill with mixture; top with crust, sealing edges well.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour for pie plate and 1 hour and 15 minutes for large Pyrex dish.
