Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 diced green pepper
- 1 stalk diced celery
- 1 lb. raw shrimp, cleaned and deveined
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. V-8 juice
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- salt to taste
Method
- Fry
- bacon
- and
- crumble.
- Add onion to bacon drippings and saute until golden.
- Add green peppers and celery. Simmer with lid on pan for 5 minutes.
- Add shrimp and the rest of the ingredients.
- Simmer for 30 minutes or until thickened.
