Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 diced green pepper
  • 1 stalk diced celery
  • 1 lb. raw shrimp, cleaned and deveined
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c. V-8 juice
  • dash of Tabasco sauce
  • salt to taste

Method

  • Fry
  • bacon
  • and
  • crumble.
  • Add onion to bacon drippings and saute until golden.
  • Add green peppers and celery. Simmer with lid on pan for 5 minutes.
  • Add shrimp and the rest of the ingredients.
  • Simmer for 30 minutes or until thickened.
