Ingredients
- 1/4 to 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 medium onion
- 4 oz. fresh mushrooms
- 1 c. beef consomme
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. rice
- pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Method
- Saute onion and mushrooms in butter. Add remaining ingredients except for rice. Bring to a boil. Add rice.
- Cook, uncovered, for 20 minutes until liquid disappears.
