Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. butter, softened
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. zucchini, grated
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. milk

Method

  • Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt together.
  • Cream until fluffy the butter, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Stir into cremed mixture the zucchini, vanilla, milk and the flour mixture.
  • Pour into two 9 inch floured pans and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Let stand five minutes and put on racks to cool.
  • When cool, ice with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting.
