Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
- 6 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. self-rising flour (not used to coat fruit)
Method
- Cut up fruit and coat with flour.
- Mix ingredients into batter.
- Add fruit and nuts.
- Bake 1 1/2 hours at 275° in tube pan.
