Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 stick margarine (1/2 c.)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 pkg. instant pudding (French vanilla)
  • 2 1/2 c. cold milk
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz. Cool Whip (large)
  • 3 oz. chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 c. confectioners sugar
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. milk

Method

  • Bring water and butter to a boil until all butter is melted. All at once add flour and salt; beat until mixture forms a ball that leaves the sides of saucepan.
  • Cool slightly.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  • Spread mixture into greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
