Ingredients
- 2 c. + 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. water
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
Method
- Sift flour, salt and soda in one bowl.
- In another bowl, blend butter, sugars, vanilla and water.
- Beat in eggs and add flour mixture.
- Add nuts and spread in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake at 375° for 4 to 5 minutes, until chips are soft.
- Remove from oven and run knife through chips and batter.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes more, until nicely brown and center is fairly firm.
