Ingredients

  • 2 c. buttermilk baking mix
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • chocolate syrup, (optional)

Method

  • Mix in medium bowl milk, egg and sugar until smooth.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Heat in a heavy skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  • Grease lightly.
  • Using about 1/4 cup batter for each pancake, pour batter into skillet in shape of heart and cook until bubbles appear on surface and edges are dry.
