Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 3/4 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method

  • Heat oven to 375°.
  • In large mixing bowl, beat Crisco, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs; beat well.
  • Gradually add flour, beating well.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cool completely. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
