Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. boneless round steak
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 3 med.-size green peppers
  • 1/2 c. onion, sliced long and thin
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 c. beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch

Method

  • Brown beef (cut in strips).
  • Add in onion and peppers.
  • Cook awhile with beef.
  • Add in seasonings and broth till boiling.
  • Simmer 15 min with lid.
  • Combine soy sauce, water, and cornstarch.
  • Add in to beef and cook till thick.
  • Serve over rice.
