Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2/3 c. uncooked rice
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
Method
- Mix beef, pork, egg, rice, milk, 1 teaspoon chili powder and salt.
- Form into small balls.
- Brown in hot fryer.
- Combine tomatoes, water, onion, salt and remaining chili powder.
- Bring to a boil.
- Drop balls into mixture.
- Cover and cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
