Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. margarine (soft, not melted)
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2/3 c. powdered sugar
  • 6 oz. Cool Whip
  • 2 (3 1/2 oz.) pistachio pudding (instant)
  • 2 1/2 c. cold milk
  • 10 or 16 oz. Cool Whip
  • chopped nuts

Method

  • Combine butter and sugar.
  • Add flour and chopped nuts.
  • Spread on bottom of 9 x 13-inch dish.
  • Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
  • Cool completely.
  • Combine cream cheese and powdered sugar.
  • Add 6 ounces Cool Whip and spread on top of crust.
  • Combine pudding and milk, beat on low for 2 minutes.
  • Spread on top of cream cheese layer. Top with 10 to 16 ounces Cool Whip.
  • Refrigerate.
  • Add chopped nuts.
