Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green chilies
  • 1 Tbsp. each chili powder, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can chili beans

Method

  • Brown beef, sausage, onion and garlic in oil. Drain off fat. Stir in all ingredients except chili beans and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Stir in chili beans and simmer 10 more minutes. Serve with sour cream or cheese.
