Ingredients

  • 8 ounce. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 12 ounce. can minced green chiles, liquid removed
  • 3 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 8 ounce. mild Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 8 ounce. Monterey Jack cheese, grated

Method

  • In a greased baking dish, layer 1/3 of the sharp cheddar and top with some chiles and lowfat sour cream.
  • Cover with a third of the mild Cheddar and a third of the Jack cheese.
  • Repeat twice, using up all the ingredients.
  • Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 30 min, until the cheeses are melted and the center is set.
  • Serve warm as a dip with tortilla chips.
