Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. hot margarine
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 can chicken broth
- 2 c. frozen whole kernel corn
- 2 c. cut green beans
- 1 c. cut-up canned tomatoes
- 2 1/2 c. diced cooked chicken
Method
- In 3-quart saucepan, heat hot margarine.
- Cook onion with thyme and garlic powder until tender, stirring often.
- Add broth, corn, green beans and tomatoes.
- Heat to boiling.
- Cook over low heat 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Add chicken.
- Heat thoroughly.
- Stir occasionally.
- Serves 5.
