Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. hot margarine
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 2 c. frozen whole kernel corn
  • 2 c. cut green beans
  • 1 c. cut-up canned tomatoes
  • 2 1/2 c. diced cooked chicken

Method

  • In 3-quart saucepan, heat hot margarine.
  • Cook onion with thyme and garlic powder until tender, stirring often.
  • Add broth, corn, green beans and tomatoes.
  • Heat to boiling.
  • Cook over low heat 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • Add chicken.
  • Heat thoroughly.
  • Stir occasionally.
  • Serves 5.
