Ingredients
- 8 or 9 apples
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 24 red cinnamon drops
Method
- Peel and core the apples. Make
- a syrup of the water, sugar and cinnamon drops. When syrup starts to boil, drop apple halves in syrup and cook 10 to 15 minutes. When tender, place apple halves in baking dish. Pour syrup over apples and bake at 350° until done (until syrup is thick). If apples are sour, use more sugar. Cook 30 or 40 minutes in oven.
