Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 (15 oz.) can sauerkraut
- 4 thick slices Swiss or Cheddar cheese
- 8 oz. Russian dressing
- salt and pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Sprinkle chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder (if desired).
- Place chicken in casserole dish and pour in sauerkraut.
- Place cheese on top of chicken, then pour dressing on top.
- Cover with foil and bake about 45 minutes, depending on thickness of chicken.
- You can add potatoes to casserole for a 1 dish meal.
- It may look terrible, but it tastes great!
