Ingredients

  • small bag Pepperidge Farm herb dressing (not cubes)
  • 3 lb. chicken breast
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom
  • 1 can cream of celery
  • 2 c. reserved chicken broth

Method

  • Cook chicken about 1 1/2 hours.
  • Remove skin and bones.
  • Cut into pieces and set aside.
  • Melt butter and add dressing.
  • Mix well.
  • Mix broth and soups together over medium heat until heated through.
  • Pour 1/2 of dressing and butter mix into bottom of pan. Layer all of chicken over this.
  • Finish with the rest of dressing mixture.
  • Pour hot soup mixture over entire pan.
  • Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes.
