Ingredients
- 1 (3 lb.) chicken
- 2 qt. water
- salt to taste
- 3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3/4 c. buttermilk or enough to make a real stiff dough
Method
- Cook chicken until done (I cook mine in pressure cooker). Remove chicken from bone and set aside.
