Ingredients

  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies

Method

  • Cream together oleo and cheese.
  • Mix together and add flour, salt, baking powder and red pepper.
  • Add Rice Krispies.
  • Roll into balls the size of a large marble.
  • Mash down with a fork.
  • Bake on a cookie sheet 12 to 15 minutes in 350° oven.
  • Store in airtight containers.
  • Makes approximately 65 wafers.
