Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. honey
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Cream the oleo and sugar in small mixer bowl; blend in honey and vanilla.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Combine flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Fold in nuts; pour into greased 9-inch square pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edge of pan.
  • Cool.
  • Frost with Honey Frosting.
