Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 3/4 C coarsely ground walnuts
  • 3/4 C crushed graham crackers
  • 3 T unsalted butter
  • Filling
  • 4 8 oz. pkgs of cream cheese at room temp.
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 C sugar
  • 1 T fresh lemon juice
  • 2 t vanilla
  • Topping
  • 2 C sour cream
  • 1/4 sugar
  • 1 t vanilla

Method

  • Crust - combine ingredients and press into bottom of spring form pan.
  • Filling - beat cream cheese until smooth, add eggs, etc. Beat thoroughly. Spoon over crust. Set pan on baking sheet. Bake for 40 -45 min. (10" pan) or 50-55 min. (9" pan). Remove from oven and let sit for 15 min. Combine ingredients for topping. Spoon topping over cheese cake, starting at middle.Return to oven for 5 min. Refrigerate at least 24 hours.
