Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 pkg. crescent rolls
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • small chopped onion
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Preheat oven to 425°. Press crescent rolls into 9-inch pie pan. Brown ground beef, onion, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Drain. Brown crescent rolls in pan for 3 to 5 minutes. Take pan out of oven. Mix tomato paste with hamburger mixture. Pour in pie shell. Top with Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes.
