Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. oleo or butter
- 1/2 lb. New York sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
Method
- Cream oleo until light and fluffy. Continue creaming while adding finely grated cheese.
- Sift together flour, salt and chili powder.
- Turn mixer to low speed and gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
- Put through cookie press, using star tip, on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake in a 375° oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Cut into desired length and remove from pan immediately. When cool, store in airtight container.
