Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. lemon instant pudding
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 pkg. Dream Whip or Cool Whip

Method

  • Mix according to package directions.
  • Pour into jelly roll pan (11 x 15-inch).
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Check after 20 minutes.
  • Cool cake thoroughly.
  • While cake is cooling, mix lemon pudding.
  • When pudding thickens, beat in cream cheese, softened.
  • Pour this mixture over cooled cake.
  • Top with Dream Whip or Cool Whip.
  • Sprinkle with finely chopped nuts (optional).
