Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 slices bacon
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground round
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. water
  • Lawry's seasoned salt
  • salt
  • pepper

Method

  • Put bacon in bottom of electric frying pan; heat until wilted.
  • Make small patties of ground round and put on top of bacon.
  • Sprinkle with Lawry's salt.
  • Slice vegetables on top of meat.
  • You can use as many vegetables as the family likes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Put soup over this, then water. Let it simmer for several hours.
  • The longer the better.
