Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 2 c. shredded cabbage
- 2 c. water
- 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained)
- 2 c. chopped cooked tomatoes
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Brown beef in hot oil over medium heat.
- Add onions, cabbage and celery.
- Cook until onions are transparent.
- Add water; simmer over low heat 15 minutes.
- Add beans, tomatoes, salt, pepper and chili powder.
- Simmer over low heat 15 minutes.
