Ingredients

  • Brisket
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. celery salt or seeds
  • 1 bottle liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp. onion powder

Method

  • Trim brisket and place in foil-lined pan (tear foil long enough to completely cover and seal around brisket). Mix together 1 bottle liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion powder and celery salt or seeds. Pour over brisket and seal foil around brisket. Refrigerate and let marinate overnight or at least several hours. Bake at 275 in foil for 5-6 hours (you can't hardly overcook it). Drain juices off and slice thin. Pour barbecue sauce over top of slices, cover with foil and bake about another hour.
