Ingredients

  • 1 c. I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!
  • 1 3/4 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 c. quick cooking oats
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 c. butterscotch morsels
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • In large bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla.
  • Combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt; add alternately with water to creamed mixture.
  • Stir in butterscotch morsels and nuts.
  • Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are lightly browned.

  • about 6 dozen cookies.
