- 1 1/4 lb. fresh broccoli, cut up
- salted water
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. thinly sliced celery
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
Method
- Cook broccoli in salted water until tender.
- Drain.
- Place in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
- Combine next 7 ingredients and spread over top.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan.
- Stir in crumbs. Spread over top.
- Bake, uncovered, in a 375° oven for about 25 minutes until browned and hot.
- Serves 6.
