Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. instant rice
  • 3/4 c. onion, chopped
  • 3/4 c. celery, chopped
  • 2 heads broccoli, chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
  • salt and butter to taste
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 3/4 c. milk

Method

  • Heat broccoli, celery and onion in saucepan for 10 minutes. Cook rice as directed on box.
  • Put Cheez Whiz and mushroom soup together and stir until smooth.
  • Add milk.
  • Put broccoli, celery and onion in casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle with salt and drizzle with butter.
  • Pour rice and Cheez Whiz mixture over broccoli.
  • Bake in preheated 425° oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
