Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can milk
  • 3/4 c. uncooked rice
  • 4 oz. can mushroom pieces with liquid
  • 1 (1 1/2 oz.) envelope onion soup mix
  • 2 whole boneless chicken breasts, split

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Mix mushroom soup with milk, set 1/2 aside.
  • Mix remaining mixture with rice, mushrooms and 1/2 onion soup mix.
  • Pour into oblong 11 x 7-inch pan.
  • Put chicken breast over mix, then top with reserved soups/milk.
  • Sprinkle with remaining onion soup and bake 1 hour, covered, or 15 minutes, uncovered at 350°.
  • Serves 4.
