Ingredients
- 5 lb. raw peanuts (in the shell)
- 1 c. salt
Method
- Wash peanuts.
- Put in large kettle and cover with water.
- Add salt; bring to a boil and simmer about 5 1/2 hours, until peanuts are tender but still firm.
- Taste and see if they are salty enough.
- Drain.
- Peanuts are good hot, warm or chilled.
