Ingredients
- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer
- 1 stick melted margarine
Method
- Place flour and sugar in bowl.
- Pour beer over dry ingredients and stir until sticky.
- Place in greased loaf pan.
- Pour 1/3 of melted margarine over top.
- Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
- Pour 1/3 more margarine over bread and cook 20 minutes more.
- Pour last 1/3 margarine over loaf; bake 20 minutes.
- Cool and slice.
- Serve with butter and honey.
