Ingredients

  • 2 c. vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 5 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 3 to 4 bananas, sliced lengthwise in half
  • 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
  • 1/3 c. lemon juice
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • Cool Whip
  • chopped nuts
  • red cherries
  • coconut

Method

  • Mix crushed wafers and melted butter; press into bottom of rectangle dish.
  • Slice bananas lengthwise and cover bottom.
  • Avoid overly ripe bananas.
  • Use yellow skinned or green tipped.
  • Mix together condensed milk and lemon juice; spread on top of bananas. Spread crushed pineapple on top of Eagle Brand layer.
  • Cover with whipped topping (8 to 9 ounce is plenty).
  • Sprinkle coconut, chopped nuts and arrange red cherries on top to designate serving size.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Easy, no cooking, pretty and good!
