Ingredients
- 4 small bananas (ripe)
- 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. low-fat milk
- strawberries, kiwi fruit slices or other fresh fruit (garnish)
Method
- Peel bananas; squeeze lemon juice over bananas. Wrap them in plastic bag and freeze until solid.
- Chill 4 champagne glasses or bowls.
- Cut bananas into small slices.
- Blend in food processor with vanilla extract and milk.
- Blend until very smooth; if mixture becomes too thick, add more milk.
- Pour into chilled glasses or bowls.
- Return to freezer, not longer than 2 hours. Garnish and serve with strawberries, kiwi slices or other fresh fruit.
