Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Box Of Thin Spaghetti Noodles
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Large Onion, Chopped
  • 26 ounces, fluid Jar Spaghetti Sauce, Whatever Kind You Prefer
  • Salt And Pepper
  • Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 5 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • 1/2 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 cups Cottage Cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Boil a pot of water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions for al dente.
  • Meanwhile in a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and onion and cook until meat is no longer pink.
  • When meat is cooked, add in the jar of spaghetti sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper and add red pepper flakes if using.
  • In a bowl combine eggs, melted butter and Parmesan cheese.
  • Set aside.
  • When spaghetti noodles are done, drain off the water and combine spaghetti and egg mixture.
  • In a large bowl combine spaghetti, sauce and meat mixture, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese.
  • Spoon into a greased 13x9 dish.
  • Cover with a sheet of foil and cook 40 minutes.
  • Uncover and cook additional 20 minutes.
