- 16 ounces, weight Box Of Thin Spaghetti Noodles
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 Large Onion, Chopped
- 26 ounces, fluid Jar Spaghetti Sauce, Whatever Kind You Prefer
- Salt And Pepper
- Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
- 2 Eggs
- 5 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
- 1/2 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 cups Cottage Cheese
- 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Boil a pot of water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions for al dente.
- Meanwhile in a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and onion and cook until meat is no longer pink.
- When meat is cooked, add in the jar of spaghetti sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper and add red pepper flakes if using.
- In a bowl combine eggs, melted butter and Parmesan cheese.
- Set aside.
- When spaghetti noodles are done, drain off the water and combine spaghetti and egg mixture.
- In a large bowl combine spaghetti, sauce and meat mixture, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese.
- Spoon into a greased 13x9 dish.
- Cover with a sheet of foil and cook 40 minutes.
- Uncover and cook additional 20 minutes.
